Many of the projects handled in our translation business derive from requests from global companies operating in and outside of Japan, with 80 percent or more of the projects dealing with translation from Japanese to English. Documents translated here include messages from top management, PR documents, and business reports, which require a high level of English language proficiency and richness in expressions. Our proofreaders proofread (grammar check, check for mistranslation and omission of translation, consistent terminology) and rewrite (brush up the expressions to become natural and appropriate for a business document without deviating from the original meaning of the source document) documents that are translated from Japanese to English, in accordance with the needs of our clients.

- Industry analysis, Fund performance reports, Messages from thought leaders
(Japanese to English translation: 80%, English to Japanese translation: 20%, mostly Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint documents)

Work type: Full-time, contract-based (automatic renewal each year)
Work location: Minato-ku, Tokyo
