The leading international Montessori school in Tokyo is looking for an Elementary Classroom Assistant (for 6-12 yr olds) to join their successful team in 2016. With over 160 students representing more than 30 countries, we provide four programme levels; Little People (for 2-3 year olds), Sunshine (for 3-6 year olds), Elementary (for 6-12 year olds) and Middle School (for 12-15 year olds).

Join our faculty, consisting of talented and enthusiastic, qualified Montessori teachers, who have taught in schools located in every continent of the world.

Minimum requirements:
- Must be native Japanese speaker, with good spoken English ability.
- Japanese as a Second Language teaching certification preferred

Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and record student's learning
- General supervision of students, both on and off-campus
- Progress reporting to Parents
- Parent Teacher conferences
- Japanese Language teaching and curriculum planning
- After School Activity instruction
- Classroom maintenance and material making
Planning and co-ordination of field trips and other off-campus activities and excursions.

Hours: Monday through Friday 08h00 to 16h30

The successful applicant will work alongside a qualified Lead Teacher.
